I don't know what to do?

How sad is it when you afraid of your own children...

Well you need to call the police when they attack you....but in the mean time I would call Children's services, I would get help from someone - talk to someone at their school - can't believe this is limited only to the home.

They sound like candidates for a residential treatment program - well the 16 year old. The 19 year old - he just needs to get out - is he going to school? He needs to leave ASAP and frankly I would not let him come back to the house unless he can prove that he will not be physically or verbally abusive.

You two have a hard road ahead of you - but you need to get with the mother and discuss these problems in private but honestly and figure out a plan, because at this rate one or both of these kids is headed for prison and I can guarantee that they won't be pushing anyone around in there!!

Perhaps you could set up a video to record such an indicant as proof....just an after thought.

What the hell? That is a terrible thing, I wouldnt threaten to call the police on them, I would do it! Then let them pick up their own pieces, they have got away with too much for too long. They are both damn well old enough to know better and suffer the consequences of their actions. Tell your husband this and just do it, pick up the phone next time. You have done nothing wrong so they have nothing on you. These kids need a boot camp, I would be 6ft under if I ever laid a finger on my parents, if they didnt get me my siblings would.

well what my mom said to me was go ahead and call the police they will take you away scared the crap out of me. well the other thing is this has been going on way before you were involved and they are much older so it will be hard but it can happen there are a number of things you can do but you guys can't do it alone why because you did say your husband is scared of they so you will be doing it on your own and it won't work why because you are not there mother well yes you are but you know what i mean i would ask profasionale help because they are out of control so if you want to fix this you should do that and also put your foot down and if they want to acted up then call the police i mean you might not want to do that but if you want to fix the problem you have to do it no one said that it was going to be easy and then maybe they will understand that you guys ae not playing around anymore good luck

There is really nothing you can do, it is your husbands mess to clean up. Military school comes to mind for the 16 year old, plain ol' giving the boot to the 19 year old sounds fine to me.

How can you even respect a man that lets his KIDS beat him up? And beat up his wife? Sheesh, sounds like your real enemy is your husband!

Well technically they are old enough to where YOU can call the police on them!! If they don't wanna sit down and talk like adults then I'd teach them a lesson of respect while they spend the night in jail for laying a hand on me!

It would be over my husband's dead body before ANYONE laid a hand on me. Your husband needs to be a man and teach these boys some respect and authority.
