Nintendo DS?

Question

My friend has had her DS Lite for 1 and 1/2 years now, and she had it plugged in charging (it was off), she left the room for a while and came back to play her DS again, and she turned it on and the screen was white. Then all of these colored lines start appearing, she can still click on pictochat and the game cart inside with the 'keypad' thing, but the screen is just white with rainbow lines that appear randomly. You can still hear sound and everything, are the screens bad? What's wrong?

go to gae stop or call nintendo for more deetails, or ask them if they can fix it. Otherwise the DS is worth nothing sry.
She probably stepped on it or jammed the screen. idk what else coulde happened

This happened to me on two of my DSs the screen just broke randomly, just like if someone would have hit it (funny huh ?). The only thing she could do is check if the warranty is still available, if not buy a new screen of the internets (it's about 30.00$).

i think the screen is been badly damaged, this is an effect of dropping the DS a lot or maybe because of sum kind of virus...i suggest u get a replacement if u had bought warranty or just buy a new one.

RMA ASAP, call the nintendo number on the back, pay the $5 for the advanced replacement, they will send you a refurbished one in a box, you open the box, take out the new one, seal up the box with tape (included in box) and stick it in mail and you're done

she probally steped on the screen plun if you push the touch screen to hard like hit it it will mess uo the thing.

its probably broken. go to like gamestop see if they will help u. or see if u can still return it. or sell it and buy a new one.
