39 weeks pregnant with back pain and stomach pain?
I am 39 weeks pregnant. I posted a question earlier kinda similar to this. Right now at this time I am sitting on my couch with back pain and some mild upper stomach pain. The pain is mostly in my back. Yesterday I did have some off white/yellowish discharge, only like 2 tablespoons. I am going to the doctor tomorrow morning for my check-up. The back pain earlier was just constant and now it is kinda coming and going away. When my back pain goes away my upper stomach will hurt.

You should check this sciatica natural treatment http://cure-sciatica.info/
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica. Try a reputable chiropractor ASAP!

First off.. CALL THE HOSPITAL! Second.. You should have done the first thing instead of posting this question on Yahoo Answers. It sounds like your water broke. I'm no expert at these things, seeing as I haven't had any children of my own yet, but I'm pretty damn well sure that when clear liquid spills out of your nether regions and you're feeling the baby drop down and having pressure it's about time to hightail it to the nearest phone and get an ambulance or your spouse/partner to take you to the hospital. Good luck!

A couple of things that work or semi-work for me... I sleep with a lot of pillows... I mean like 8 pillows to provide all around body support. Heat also helps and it is safe to take a few regular or extra strength Tylenol. Some discharge is normal but check with your doc to make sure it is not an infection. Try changing your position frequently too.

that discharge sounds like it could have been your mucus plug. back pain is totally normal this far in pregnancy. now if the pain comes and goes that might be early back labor. upper stomach pain...not sure about the pain aspect but if you feel like its tightening then those are contractions... if there is pain withe the contractions then those are probably real ones if no pain (that comes and goes) then those are probably braxton hicks. if it gets worse or you want to know for sure I would call ur dr.

Dude,
upper stomach pain means the fundus of uterus is getting ready to expel the baby. This is a # 1 sign. I think you are in labor (could be hours away, but nonetheless...)
Call the Doc. CONGRATS!!!!!!!

Sounds like labor might be starting!
Drink some water. You can help bring it along by walking. Do some squats as well to let the baby engage in the pelvis.
goood luck!
