I love the Jabbawockeez but am I too old?...?

I don't know if any of you guys have heard of the dance crew, 'Jabbawockeez' but I admire and love them a lot. They're the first crew to ever make me feel like I actually want a dance profession in my life.

However, I feel that because I have no experience in dance whatsoever, it would be a challenge to learn at this age. I'm 20 years old. Is that age too old to start learning hip hop dance, especially in the raw and urban style like the super dance crew Jabbawockeez.

Don't take me wrong. I am not intending to copy them but they really inspired me. Their style and the way they represented themselves really caught my heart inside and out.

I just started loving the Jabbawockeez from watching them on the 'America Best Dance Crew'. However, after they won the title, their astounding performances left me with inspiration and great appreciation for dance. They really are the best, especially if they're able to make me feel like this.

first of all, i love the jabbawockeez too! i pretty much screamed when they won america's best dance crew :]

second, it's NEVER too late to start dancing. you should have an open and positive mind, but don't set your expectations TOO high. being honest, if you're starting at 20, it's not too likely that you'll be amazing and it's very very very rare to go professional or anything like that considering that many people are well into their careers at that age. but if you just want to have fun with it, go ahead. check out dance studios in your area, tell them what you're looking for, and see if they have any classes they can put you in. once you get started, stick with it! go to every class you can, and even head over to the gym to build up muscle, which you will definitely need for that kind of dance.

    good luck! <3
