How come with 300 channels...you can never find anything to watch on tv? how did we ever get by with only 7?

Well we got by because we had to because back in the day there was no other choice so if you were someone who never heard of cable or derect tv or dish network you would probaly be able to live with 7 channels.

I think the reason you can't find any good television programs to watch is because there's an influx of reality shows and many of the scripted shows lack a good story line and quality.

i totally agree, with more than 200 channels, internet, playstation ect, we get more bored that we did than when we had (in my case) 6 channels, a draughts (checkers) board, a pack of cards and our imaginations.
