Economic Stimulus Payment..what will you do?
The hope is that this payment will boost the economy (people buying merchandise). I don't foresee the gas prices going down anytime soon, food cost is rising, it cost more than most of us make to have the necessities these days.
My husband and I are going to pay off some debt and put the rest in savings. We feel for us that would be wiser. Even though there are things we would like to have - if we buy them we'll still be in debt and the cost of living will still be there staring us in the face! What will you do with yours?
Aussie diver - No we haven't received ours yet. We received a letter from the IRS last week saying we could expect ours in May/June.
I'm also glad to see so many our savers. Based on the media you would think everyone is on the brink of financial hardship. Keep on savin'!

Since we already save 33% of our income, we will NOT be saving this money. We will be using part to pay for a new muffler for my truck and the rest will probably buy us some new clothes for our son and contact lenses for me, probably some new threads for hubby as well.

Probably use it to buy a new washing machine. We save and invest large amounts of our money as it is.
