Is Krav Maga the most violent of the martial arts?

If not, which hand-to-hand techniques are more extreme?

Any art can be violent, don't matter if it's boxing or kung fu

It's the person who practices it is good, then yes it will be as violent as it can get.

The most violent martial art I know of is modern business.

Fine, it might not be physical in nature, but it is certainly martial - ie. - it has actual, real world effect.

Wouldn't you be rather be punched in the face than be a pawn in an effort for SOMEONE ELSE to make a profit knowing you will be displaced to create the ILLUSION of profit if you don't toe the line?

Martial doesn't imply physical nor pragmatism.

In fact, Business IS a martial art. One that I think, on the whole, is overall far more violent than what we normally think of...

Ok, a human life, in self defense is different from a business making a profit.... (or, think 'hey hippy commie anti-Reagan..." honestly, did Reagan-omics really help you or did someone who made a bunch of money due to your believing it helped you tell you that? Did you actually think about it or did you just walk right in with blind trust?_

Why, then, are human lives, given a value in dollars?

(insurance companies, political capitol, economic potential, e conomic worth....etc.,...)

Source(s): Before the difference between fighting and business is considered, think about this: In an given bookstore, you are at least as likely to find Sun Tsu, the Art of War in the business section as you are to find it in the martial art/sports/philosophy sections. That said - these days, business IS violent - how many people need be directly/indirectly involved for there to be a difference? Two in a physical fight over a girl equals how many in a political/economic fight over pay rates? Same thing, different specifics. Who gave you Saturday and Sunday off from work? .... Its wasn't a conservative republican... it was a commie, pinko democrat. In te big scheme of things, Krav Maga, Kali, Aikido, whatever... Do you want those skills to be a tool for someone else when the aftermath really pans out or are you free enough to say 'hey! I refuse to defend ideals that only help others get rich at my own expense!' If you follow the doctrine of the most influential of martial arts, you will belive it unpatriotic and a sin to give up freedom and embrace effective slavery. Who cares the 'art'... I care the freedom -

Krav Maga is not a martial art. It is a fighting system.
