Can you name two movies where the first things you see are women in their wedding dresses?
If you know, name the movies and the women.
Also, both women starred in separate movies with Samuel L. Jackson. Name the movies.

To the rest of you, I never realized that there were so many movies that started that way!
I guess I'll have to be more specific next time!
The First movie was KB1, and you see Uma Thurman laying there with the sounds of Bill walking up to put a bullet in her head...even before the credits and the singing of "Bang, Bang!". The next time you see her in her dress is in scene 2, when they pan down on the whole wedding party, dead on the chapel floor, before Ranger Earl McGraw comes in.
The second movie...and this may be something you've never seen, although our cable system shows it over and over and over...is "Earthgirls Are Easy", with Geena Davis.
As to the second part of the question, where both women starred with SLJ, KB1 was is for Uma Thurman, and "The Long Kiss Goodnight" was it for Geena Davis.

I think that In both Kill Bill movies, it was Uma Thurman's weddding day in the opening scenes. In Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004), it opened with Uma Thurman in her wedding gown and Samuel L. Jackson appeared in the same movie as Rufus.
In The Wedding Planner (2001), Jennifer Lopez is not in a wedding gown, herself, but an unknown bride is shown in the same opening scene with her.. Jennifer Lopez was also in Out of Sight (1998) and Samuel L. Jackson had a cameo role in the same movie.
P.S.--I can't think of a movie that Julia Roberts or Cameron Diaz was in with Samuel L. Jackson AND in an opening wedding scene. True, Julia Roberts was riding a horse on her wedding day in the opening scene of Runaway Bride (1999) and Cameron Diaz was getting married to Vincent D'Onofrio in Feeling Minnesota (1996). Too, both of these female stars were in the movie My Best Friend's Wedding (1997) in which the movie opens with a group of unknown women singing in their wedding gowns.
