De la Hoya now would give Cotto a run for his money now never mind his prime, in his prime i think he beats Cotto too much movement and his long reach would make Cotto struggle, De La Hoya wins

De La Hoya wins by late KO. De La Hoya would put up a good fight nower days but would lose. But back in his prime De La Hoya would far too much for Cotto

Oscar would take this 1 by late ko/stoppage or a unanimous decision. He is a better all around boxer than cotto , has a great chin and is probably about just as strong as cotto and defiantly faster. It would be an entertaining fight thats for sure. I think it would have looked a LITTLE similar to oscar vs vargas fight or actually maybe closer to the quartey fight, it would have been great to watch. I think a prime oscar or shane mosley would beat cotto, just for the record cotto did not beat a prime shane mosley and though it was a good fight it could have gone either way. Prime shane was when he fought de la hoya.

De La Hoya wins by decision or late-round stoppage. Too fast and too much power in his prime. And his superior boxing skills would outmatch the straight-ahead, pressure-fighting Cotto, giving De La Hoya many opportunities over the course of the fight to land power shots to Cotto's suspect chin.

Lets kill the Prime excuse. Every sport, its out with the old and in with new. Both guy's had stamina issues. Cotto started running around the 9th round with Mosley. Oscar started runinng around the 7th against Tito. Oscar is more faster, great power and can box. Cotto has power, and can punish your body. Cotto doesn't have good defence and a weak chin. Cotto like to come at you and Oscar would love that.

I'd take Oscar now. Remember he just lost a close split decision to the pound for pound king. I would much rather see Oscar fight Cotto than Mayweather this fall. I don't think Cotto has the power to knock out either mayweather or DeLaHoya. Oscar is a real deal fighter while Cotto still needs that signature win in his career. If he fought Oscar it would be a signature Loss IMHO.

De la hoya, wins by ko...too fast and too strong, he used the whole ring,..cotto is a good fighter but doesn't have the mobility that de la hoya did...

i wanna see cotto vs mayweather, they should have this fight soon.....
