So, My daughter turns one today..........?

is that old enough to leave her in the car for a few hours while mommy goes to the bar for a few "celebratory" cocktails??

Update:

awww, thanks to all who know that P&S is not a place to be serious (contacts, and a few others who know better)

she has a booster at our favorite bar, she IS the party! LOL

You know the best part of this whole ENTIRE thing is when people who don't know you answer your Q's and think your serious! LMAO! Bad mommy ...BAD!!

Good Lord woman ... I'm beginning to think you like being brutalized! hee hee!

And how dare you leave her out of the celebration. Whiskey can easily replace the milk in her bottle and the nipple will reduce the bite. That way she'll get a good gulp before she throws it across the room in disgust! (It is an acquired taste as you well know!) ;-D

So bring her along ... I'm sure they'll make an exception for a minor just this once. Like Janet said ... she'll be the hit of the party for sure! (Especially after the whiskey takes hold!) LOL

Peace and give her a BIG Happy Birthday squeeze for me!

This is not for her birthday party, but if she is going out on her own and for your younger daughters I highly recommend the book "See Sally Kick A**: A Woman's Guide to Personal Safety." This book gives lots of practical safety tips for women of all ages on how to stay safe. There is a very good section on avoiding date rape and a chapter on what to do if someone grabs you. The *'s do have to be replaced with an s. Search for women's personal safety on Yahoo and that should take you to the site and more information.

No, I wouldn't do that. That reminded me of a girl I once knew that would always leave her dog in the car while in the bar. That my dear will get you in the news. Take her in the bar and let her walk and dance on the bar for free drinks. Happy Birthday to her!

NOO [thats in capital letters]!! I just feel its so unsafe now adays, and plus one years old is still too young. Kids are very curious, and they can crawl or move around and do whatever they can to touch something, or see something new. And you can't trust people in public. Theres different possibilites of what people can do if they seen a one year old child in a car by themselves. Can you beleive this woman left her child in her carseet for more then 2 hours becuase she forgot??? Thats crazy [i hard that on the news]!!!

But its okay if theres an adult you trust with your baby!!! =D

  • Take her into the bar with you. Let her pick out the songs on the jukebox, maybe teach her to shoot some pool while she's at it. Parents should always spend time with their children.

If you were a good mother you would have taught her how to mix your drinks by now. Take her in the bar and let her earn some money, then let her spend it at Chuck-E-Cheese or the arcade or wherever one year old kids hang out these days.

Any age before she can talk is fine. It when they learn to tattle on mommy that you've got a problem.

You know, when they're babies all we want them to do is say their first words. Then they learn to talk & you just gotta sit back and wonder what the hell we were thinking.

Only if you drink said drinks through her old bottles..kind of a remembrance. Oh, and is Barney on the DVD, if Barney is on the DVD all is good.

  • One is old enough to drink beer where I come from. No liquor mind you, but beer is great for toddlers. That way, she'll be sleepy when momma meets her hookup for the night.

Happy Birthday to your child and I really hope you are kidding about leaving her alone in the car. If not this is very say.
