I need help regarding a job?!?
What are the state rules in New York for a 13 going on to 14 to have a job?I need to start making decent money!I mean i can't depend on my parents forever!I am a high honor roll student and very mature!I am totally freaked out by animals, bugs, !!i can do thing like mowing ,planting babysitting or things cause im not allowed to!But just in case if it is legal for a 13-14 yr old to get a job where could i find one?By the way if it helps i'm turning 14 in nov. and im a girl!thnx!!

I am from Long Island and i go to a junior senior high school 7-12 grades

Al so if i could get a job..what kind of paper work would i need to show?

You should be a babysitter. 13 or 14 isn't enough to get a job in New York, and would be crazy.

Make a flyer of your babysitting service, and send it around the neighborhood. There are more people than you think that are looking for babysitters, too. And you get decent pay!

As for paperwork for babysitting, I highly doubt someone inthe neighborhood will make you fill out an application. They might have an interview with you to make sure you're good with children.
