Okay ..so yesterday I noticed some green puss coming from my doggy's anus....?
also since I also noticed that he scooches his butt on the ground...I took him to the vet where he had his anal glands expressed and got a d-worming shot. I'm concerned because he's uncomfortable...before i take him back to the vet I wanted to get some advice. What is the cause of this puss oozing from my dog's butt??????

Impacted anals glands get infected - next time you notice your dog scooching like this, get his anal glands expressed or do it yourself.
Meanwhile, feed him more fibre, canned pumpkin is good (unsweetened, plain pumpink), that helps eliminate the anal secretions.

Hello: If your doggie kid is in discomfort call the vet and ask if you can give a baby asprin every 8 hours. That would be (1 ) 81mg baby asprin every 8 hrs. Make sure the vet says this is ok.. It should be !
Next, Make sure your pal is on a good food.. Quality and Holistic if possible.
Innova
Wellness
Solid Gold
Also, buy some Kellogs Brand of " All Bran cereal"
give you pal 1/8 of a cup each day....mixed in his food.
This will give him some quality fiber.
Remember NO table food - No breads or cookies.
Buy a quality / holistic treat like Innova EVO - treat snacks.
Best wishes on this:

Hi. Not enough fiber! They need vegies like us. For fiber Popcorn a cup a day, toss em a raw appel once a week, or raw carrots, potatoes, celery , no grapes the pesticide can hurt them, anyway hope this helps!!!
