Hi you say the Knob is moving

If so I suspect that the ball joint inside the headlight assembly has come adrift

you may be lucky if you remove the head light there is a chance that you can press the ball back into the socket

    good luck with it

    hope this helps

There are two adjustment knobs per headlight. You may be turning the wrong knob (the left/right instead of the up/down).

If just in case you are already turning the correct knob, then re-attachment of the adjusting mechanism is best done by an

experienced BMW mechanic, not just any mechanic, or any BMW mechanic.

Re-attaching the said part is tricky and often-times gets broken if done incorrectly.

Your should have a button in your dash you can use, or from the head light itself, just park your car facing a wall and Fidel with the screws on each head light until you get it right, it is better to take your car to a MOT garage just to check the head light beam is correct.

well it could be the motor on the headlamp, wiring problem, switch problem or blown fuse.
