how can i have my brother committed to a mental facility, he is bipolar abd very violent?

my brother lives with our 74 yr old mother and myself and we completely totally support him, i am the legal home owner and have given him several eviction notices and he just wont leave he has treatened the lives of myself and our mother if their are any attorneys in toledo ohio willing to help, please e-mail me

    If you have evicted him and he keeps trespassing, then you can get the police involved. Explain to them the problems he is causing, and I believe that you, as his relative, can request he be checked out for mental problems rather than going only to jail. Tell the police, or a social worker you want to "Baker Act" him.

    This way, once he has been evlautaed, they will refer him to Social Services who will help with doctors, medication, or even a group home, if that is necessary.

    I can tell you care about your brother, and getting him the help he needs is the best thing you can do for him..AND for you and your Mom

    Here in Oklahoma we have adult prortective services if he is harming either one of you. You can have him legally evicted.And you can always talk to the police and get input from them.

    I would call the cops and county services to get him help and to you guys safe.
