Physics Temperature Question?
A Jaguar XK8 convertible has an eight-cylinder engine. At the beginning of its compression stroke, one of the cylinders contains 499 cm^3 of air at atmospheric pressure (1.01x 10^5 Pa) and a temperature of 27.0degrees C. At the end of the stroke, the air has been compressed to a volume of 46.2 cm^3 and the gauge pressure has increased to 2.72x10^6 Pa. Compute the final temperature T in degrees C.
The answer isn't 474

PV=nRT
101,000 Pa x .000499 m^3 = n (287 J/kg•K) x (300 K)
n=5.58354 x 10^-4 This stays constant
P2 is guage pressure, so P2 = 2,720,000Pa + 101,000 Pa
P2(absolute)=2,821,000 Pa
T=PV/nR
T=(2,821,000 Pa) x (.0000462 m^2) /
( 287 x 5.58354 x 10^-4)
T= 813.3 K or 540.3ºC.

there is not any steam at ninety six ranges.. (celcius acceptable??)) (till ure up a mountain or some thing??) the temperature continues to be consistent, becase the warmth is getting used to interrupt the bonds, to alter the water from liquid to a gasoline

p V/T = p°Vo/To
T = To p V/(p°Vo) = (27+273)*2.72*10^6*46.2/(1.01*10^5*499)
T = 748 K .
t = 748-273 =475 °C.
