very confused... someone help me please!?

Question

Theres this guy... of course... and i cant tell if he likes me or not... he flirts with me, but he also flirts with other girls, which makes me kinda jealous, but ya know.  Hes grounded at the moment but he called me yesterday while his parents werent around... he said he searched through his fifty numbers and only felt like talking to me... i asked him why since he had talked to me all day at school(im a senior by the way, not some middle school thing) and he told me that he just loved to talk to me over the phone. he always tells me im adorable, cute and irresistable, but then he always talks about other girls... i want him to ask me out, but he always tells me that he doesnt want his heart broken... and since i will be moving to go to college in three months im thinking that he might not wanna go out with me because he'll miss me too much... any ideas or comments??? anything helps!

This is what fishermen call "throwing chum."  He's just throwing bait out there to see who will bite.  He doesn't have any specific girl in mind.  He's just trying to get as many girls to like him as he can.  He figures the more girls he rounds up, the more likely he is to catch one.

Well all he is is a flirt, becuase why did he search all 50 numbers just to talk with you. Because if he really wanted to talk with you on the phone that woudl be the first number he would call and as a matter a fact your number would be first on his list. So don't fall for his game because that's all it is with him a game. He needs to grow up.

Ok well my advice to you is to just move on and forget about him.He is obviously a player.I mean, it's a possibility that he could like you but im not sure...if he really wanted to go out w/h you then he would've probably ask you already.He doesn't sound too serious,he flirts w/h other girls and is talking about other girls then he is player...unless that's what you want..that's for you to decide..

hmm this guy is a toughie. On one had he seems like hes playing you, flirting with other girls just like he does with you. And the line about only wanting to talk to u seems like a play. Does he know you like him? if so he could be just wanting a booty call. When hes around you does he flirt diffrently than with other girls youve seen? if so then he might be interested.. i just dont know how much of a relationship hes looking for.

Your leaving in 3 months to go to college and are going to be meeting lots of other guys so what do YOU want? If your just looking for some summer fun with this guy go for it but if you could be serious about him.....your leaving and should probably avoid the complication.

AWWWWW he sounds sooooo adorable!
anyway, the guy I'm into right now is the same way.  we don't talk on the phone but when I'm around he's always talking to me and joking around with me and flirting, but he flirts with all the girls too.  which is slightly annoying, but I deal with it.

i think him saying he won't ask you out because he doesn't want to get his heart broken means he doesn't want to be stuck with one girl, honestly. sounds like a player to me.
