should a 14 year old be playing Halo 3?

the game is rated M for (mature 17 years or older) He's on it probably about 3 hours a day...more on weekends and is always talking to people he doesn't know, pretending like he is "cool" talking like he's ganster whenever he's on it. Is there any language or concerns about talking to strangers online through this system?

I use Xbox live voice-chat and I play Halo 3. I am 14 and a girl. And the ESRB ratings aren't reall accurate. I was playing a James Bond Game that was rated M when I was 4-5 years old.

So I think this 14 year old is fine.

I have had the same problem...

However, I have observed the game and it isn't really bad. I disagree with the rating myself.

However, there is no censorship online, so he may hear language you don't want him to.

it is fine.....I am also 14 and I have played it.....just don't let him get too obsessed....and don't let him play GTA....not safe for teen minds IMO...True Crime series...is ok I have True Crime streets of LA...you are a detective....good game...GTA...you are a gangster...bad game

but it was said earlier...he might hear some inappropriate things online...but I doubt it is worse than what he hears at school

    Source(s): hope i helped
