Favorite Andy Warhol?

I like his "Green Stamps." I'm not sure why, I just really like it...

I admire Roy Lichtenstein. His work is amazing! everytime there's an art exhibit here I go because his work is normally included.

I don't like nothing of Warhol's, through him we experience an apotheosis of stupidity. I find absolutely nothing beautiful in his repetitive work let alone exalting. He belongs to the same denomination of bad kitsch artists who got taken seriously, and worst he takes himself seriously. Pop art is the very opposite of what is beautiful in art. Beethoven said of his music to be like wine, and he like Bacchus makes people spiritually drunken through it. A symphony like his ninth is a piece of art that exalts that elevates man, and the same can be said of Leonardo or Michelangelo. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of all those ignominious "modern masters".

i like his first paintings better. lke the ones he did for magazines and adds better than his campbells cans and monroe prints/paintings.
