If you are a nurse have you ever taken your revenge out on a patient?

Question

A bigshot business man had to spend a couple of days in the hospital. He was a royal pain to the nurses because he bossed them around just like he did his employees. None of the hospital staff wanted to have anything to do with him.

The head nurse was the only one who could stand up to him. She walked into his room and announced, "I have to take your temperature."

After complaining for several minutes, he finally settled down, crossed his arms and opened his mouth.

"No, I'm sorry, the nurse stated, "but for this reading, I can't use an oral thermometer."

This started another round of complaining, but eventually he rolled over and bared his behind.

After feeling the nurse insert the thermometer, he heard her announce, "I have to get something. Now you stay JUST LIKE THAT until I get back!"

She leaves the door to his room open on her way out. He curses under his breath as he hears people walking past his door, laughing. After almost an hour, the man's doctor comes into the room.

"What's going on here?" asked the doctor.

Angrily, the man answers, "What's the matter, Doc? Haven't you ever seen someone having their temperature taken before?"

After a pause, the doctor replies, "Yes, but never with a daffodil!"

I understand what your saying.. But you need to let him go. He has let you go and has showed you by getting another girlfriend. Not the time to think about revenge. Esp if you want him back you know? What if he comes back and announces his love for you in front of his parents. I am sure your feeling bad right now.. But wait it out.... Good things come to those who wait.. Good Luck! Oh to answer your questions.. You don't need to tell anyone.. If you think you do to feel better talk to your best friends. Or your parents. :) ** Update** You can't make someone be your destiny. If you act desperate or needy you will lose him forever. This is the ways of the world. Men don't seem to like needy women.. And if you ACT as such you will lose him forever!!!! I didn't think you wanted that??

Ha ha Suzie!!!!  That was a scene from one of the Carry On films - can't remember which one, obviously Doctor something or other!  Hattie Jacques was the one who gave the patient the daffodil.

You've been watching carry on films!  The matron was Hattie Jaques, the patient was Frankie Howard - two comedy greats who could never be replaced.  I loved that film!

Good One!  I think the writers for that show named "HOUSE" used that exact same scenario in one of their episodes where the cop comes in as a patient & House gets into it with the dude before he realizes the dude with "attitude" is a cop!  It was priceless...sans daffodil & open door with onlookers!

Funny!
There once was a older woman who was used to bossing around colored servants.  They put a rubber sheet on her bed and every time she said she had to poo or tinkle, they said, just do it in your bed.  When the doctor came, all the nurses on that wing were fired.
