Just got a weird text from my friend...?

There is this boy and i have been friends with him for a very long time. We don't really get into fights. He was flying to washington this weekend and i am texted him asking him how was his flight. Like an hour later he sends this: I AM IN MY HOTEL ROOM! ABOUT TO GO TO SLEEP! I didn't think anythig of the whole capital letters. I sent him back one that was asking him about the flight. He sends back: Don't ever speek to me again! (exact wording) So i send one back asking what's wrong and I ask him if he was beign serious. He sends one back saying: Yes, shut your mouth. Just kidding. Not really I am being foreal.

I am sorry I had to type the whole conversation but I am really confused. I tried calling but I got his machine. He is at a hotel with some of his friends because he is on like a school related trip, so i am thinking maybe some of his friends did it, but he is protective of his phone. What should I do?

    I would just let it go and talk to him when he gets home and he isn't around his friends. It could be that his friends are jealous of your relationship with him and so they tried to convince him that he shouldn't be friends with you anymore. I would suggest that you just wait it out until he gets home and when he does go to house and talk to him about it find out what happened.

    Wait til he comes back. Thats the thing with texting, you're never quite sure who is on the other end. If you know your friend really well, you should know he would do such a thing. For the time being, relax and wait. He'll have an explanation. Good Luck!

    He is with his friends! That is a good indicator that his friends could be messing with you. Trust me! I was at a big party and some guy took this girls cell phone and texted something very very rude to my friend and she thought it was from the girl.

    Just wait until he gets back. Ask yourself. Have I done anything to him? Does he have any reason to be like this? If you said no. It is likely this is a joke.

    I think that you should keep talking to him and be like Are you serious? and stuff like that. He might just be kidding but you know how they are. Just talk to him when he gets back and see whats really going on.

    It sounds like he is showing off and being stupid in front of his friends, or one of his friends is messing with you.

    Just wait until tomorrow and call him again. I am sure that everything is okay. DOn't worry.

    i bet he is just joking, and text him saying, "i really hope you are joking, because i dont want to lose a friendship over you doing a mean joke with your friends" or something like that
