Ahhhh a VERY smart man you are Ron ... very smart. This is why I hang out with you and why I am hiring you to do my taxes. I'll FedEx them today okay?
Well ... I think some here need to do their elephant homework as you obviously have my dear. Elephants are an EXCELLENT replacement. They are extremely strong swimmers for those who don't know AND can swim long distances without tiring. They actually use their trunks as a snorkel! (Discovery Channel anyone??) lol
For those non-believers I present to you Ron's web site. See his video of his magnificent elephant fleet being trained and ridden by his staff.

As I said ... smart man Ron. Very smart. I will be booking my trip once I get my tax refund. So be quick about that will you?
Many thanks ... and best of luck on this venture. You are sure to make a mint ... and in that case do NOT forget your P&S buddies will ya?
Peace ...

The price at the pump is definitely going higher. The question is whether prices will merely breach $4.00-$4.25 per gallon or will they go stratospheric? Thank goodness Congress hasn't acted on the Boone Pickens natural gas plan for heavy vehicles. Converting heavy vehicles to run in American natural gas would reduce the demand for imported oil, save tens of thousands of dollars for heavy vehicle operators and require a private sector infrastructure buildout that would create thousands of construction and permanent jobs. The industry that should suffer the most is the US Congress, but as you can see doing nothing, waiting until crisises emerge and then doing nothing to solve the crisis (whether it's an energy, entitlement, or tax reform crisis) is a sure fire re-election strategy. How about we take this November as an opportunity to clear the decks of every single incumbent who is running for re-election? Maybe elect someone in November who isn't a complete and total shill for his or her party and preferred special interest. Let's take a chance on a new face who may not always have his or her hand out waiting for some vig in every single bill before casting a vote not on the merits but for what it may do for him/her and his/her re-election campaign. This November vote for someone else!

Maybe the owners of the elephant sized SUV's should trade them in for normal sized vehicles then the demand for fuel would be lower. Lower demand = surplus gas = lower prices. Do they really need those house-sized vehicles to go across the rugged tundra to the local Walmart or Dunkin Donuts ?

Having ridden an elephant at Marine Land when I was about 3.5, I can attest to their fuel efficiency. The ride is very wobbly, thus one has to use their "core" muscles....
I wouldn't call it a "cruise"...market it as the newest work-out.

Sorry, I already booked on your competitor's site, "Camel Cruising.com"
They set the industry standards on mpg AND run a bit faster. And they're not afraid of mice.
Sorry, pal, a day late or otherwise I would have went with you.

Pardon, Sir, but I am a bit skeptical. I would think elephants would be sinkers!! Blub, blub, blub....down to Davy Jones' Locker we go!
