Recession we are in! Cutting back on...?
We In the United States ARE in a Recession. Prices of EVERYTHING have skyrocketed! What will you be cutting back on in order to just be able to buy food?

Recession is a state of mind. By the time economists and politicians recognize a "recession," by definition we already have been in consecutive quarters of downward trends. This means that most people already have cut back their expenses, either due to fear of losing wealth or a job, or by actually having lost them.
I notice that I and other business owners experience our own personal recession-style behaviors based on the particulars of our micro-economies, based on what industries we're in. So, for me, the cutting back has been going on for a while, and our family's already at a balance, for this inflationary economy. I miss my double-mochas and monthly haircuts. :(

Just because YOU SAY we are in a recession doesn't make it so. So far, the numbers don't show it.
