Drawing on fabric - fixative out of general household products...?
I would like to draw on fabric with a medium and then use something thats not specialized to make sure it doesn't wash out - any ideas? I don't have cash for special products just looking for an innovative idea. Thanks!

You can use bleach to draw with - dip in and use a brush, to stroke on. Let sit. Rinse with cold water.
I don't think you have to use a fixative; however, vinegar in cold water is used as a fixative for various dying products.
You could do wax resist - draw with wax, then dye the fabric. Cold wash usually sets the dye.
That's about all the knowledge and experience I have.
Good luck!
