Do you use Vista and MS Office 2007?
Got this weird thing happening with Vista and Outlook 2007. Sometimes when I try to start Outlook I just get the hourglass spin, then nothing happens. No error message ....... just the blank stare from the desktop wallpaper.
If I bring up task manager, there are three instances of Outlook running. Killing them will enable Outlook to start normally.
I'm running Vista SP1. MS Office is up to date according to the MS updates web site.
Any ideas? Is this a known issue?

it happens even without sp1 so best way is to autostart outlook when you boot the computer and just leave it on until you close it. it needs to be on anyways for you to receive appointments and reminders.
