Video Game music mp3s?
So, we all know it's illegal to download any copyrighted music from limewire, but...
I just now thought, I downloaded a Silent Hill 3 song from KHinsider's mp3 downloads.
And Silent Hill is a video game... but does this work the same as limewire?
Here's what i'm trying to ask: is it illegal to download mp3's from a video games soundtrack for free, from a site like Galbadia Hotel or KHinsider?

Yes, that is if you haven't actually purchase the song. People consider this like roms, can't download it if you don't own it. However Galbadia Hotel states if you have the game, then you can download the music. Not sure if this applies to every song, but still risky either way. Check it out at the following:

And KHinsider really states that you can only download the song if you actually own the song. As you're probably aware of, before your download, some text reminds you and states that you are in fact "agreeing" to their terms and cannot be responsible if you get caught.
So, just to sum it all up from my view, don't download a song if you don't have the game in which it came from. Remember, the same music is on the game you bought, so these sites provide a way for you to enjoy what you bought. I'm no lawyer, so of course many other issues apply and I cannot say every one of my views is true.
Well hope this helps and good luck!
