stars dont give you points...its just a measure how interesting people find the question...

but stars are counted, and it shows on the q&a page, remember that if the question gets deleted you do NOT lose your stars...and if they unstar it, the count on the q&a page does decrease...

I dont think you get a point for the stars that you gain, so you don't lose a point for the stars that you lose. They are just there for show, and also so your contacts can see the question easier.

I am not RUDE to tell you no point is gained by getting a star to yr Q. You can give star in appreciation.

you dont gain a point for a star, nor do u lose a point if they unstar.....there are NO points involved in starring. ...
