Safeguard usage?
Anyone out there use safeguard horse paste on Dogs and Cats for deworming..I heard it was safe to use on them..What dosage do you use in cc syringe and weight? Thanks, only people who have experience with this..

most vets will give you free advice on dosages over the phone, please do not take advice over this site, you can not guarantee they are qualified and they do not know what weight your animals are so unless you get advise from your vet do not use this paste

The manufacturer advises against it. They make a safeguard formula specific to canines.
"21. CAN I USE SAFE-GUARD PASTE FOR HORSES OR SAFE-GUARD SUSPENSION FOR CATTLE TO TREAT MY DOG?
We do not recommend that you treat your dog with Safe-Guard formulations for large animals. These formulations are not labeled for use in dogs.
