Where am I?
You know the old faithful riddle about the hunter and the bear (1 mile south, 1 mile east, 1 mile north. What colour was the bear). My question is;
where else on this planet could you go and do the same movements ( 1 mile south, 1 mile east, 1 mile north) and end up exactly where you started?
North or South pole is not acceptable as an answer; neither is "down a mineshaft" - that is not travelling South, it's falling.
First correct answer gets the points
This isn't a trick question. You or I or anyone could physically go there and do it!
You need to think carefully.Some of you are on the right lines.

Phil... -it's not a trick; as I said, you can physically go there and do it yourself!

There is no other place on the Earth that this works.
This phenomon occurs because using you are using the compass bearings AT the pole causing your path to triangulate around the same origin.
Is this just a question shoot-off of the riddle or is this a clever riddle you've created?

If you are capable of walking on hot lava, go underground to the point where the circumference of the earth is exactly one mile.
You might need a spade.

You're in the chair you were in at the start, and all your travelling was on Google Earth.
