Need helping with texting on my Pantech Duo?

You need to call ATT.. it saound like they didn't flip a flag on your account to enable you to receive text/mms..

This has happen to me in the past..

i am not sure if this is why. but when i got my phone made my the same company as the pantech duo.. My sim card slipped out just try to put it in better... good luck hope it owrks

Are you kidding? You've had it for less than a day and you're already worrying about this. Give it 72 hours and if it doesn't work by then Call the phone company

No, there is no other way. The text message sounds are preset in the registry. Basically, theres no limitation to how big the file can be, but u need to assign it to the phones directory with the exact file location.

try restarting the phone and try to send / recieve a txt message

you need to go to your local at&t store and ask for tech support. my friend has that phone and he really hates it.
