Give a complaint to local cops. Mention in your FIR to maintain confidentiality about you. Let the law take its course of action. Also mention that you need personal security for the action. Take a written undertaking from your neighbors for they will be liable for even a small scratch on you. Moreover, under child labor Act, your neighbors will be sentenced imprisonment and your name will never be disclosed. Save the kid.

if you involve in this situation by being a hero and just help him out without any police's assistant, then it would be something that is not quite well planned...

You dont know the truth or the real situation,and yet, tryin to help..its a noble thing to do, but, dont you think its a lil bit too dangerous and not worth risk taking??

So, i would advice you that eventhough you are willing to help, you should contact the police and let them investigate for you...its their work afterall...

Most probably you'l dont want to be bad neighbours. If you'l do not have a guts, look out for some enemies of your neighbours and take their help and they will be obliged to help the poor boy.

Talk with some social workers. All India Womens council or some other organization may have some suggestion for you.

I don't know what the laws are like in India (it is India, right?) but contacting the authorities might help.

Try contacting your Ambassador or Embassy.
