What's Your Favorite Comfort Food?

For whatever the reason, we LOVE those foods that remind us of childhood, mom/grandma... good times. Mine is my Mom's Chicken Casserole w/ Mac n Cheese on the side. OK so I have more than ONE favorite comfort food...you can too!

    Mash Potato,

    Chocolate,

    Chips (as in English style steakhouse chips not in the American term for crisps),

    Chocolate,

    Pizza....spicy pizza with lots of chilli peppers,

    Chocolate,

    Plain boiled basmati rice,

    Chocolate,

    Corn on the cob with melted butter,

    Chocolate,

    Jacket potato with crunchy skin covered with butter and maybe baked beans as a filling,

    Chocolate.

    Haagan Daz Cookies and Cream ice cream.

    Ummmm! did I mention chocolate?

    A cheese dip that my aunt makes. Green peppers, nacho cheese,cheese dip, american cheese sasuage( any type).Cut everything up and let it melt together in a crock pot for 30 mins. and when its all melty leave it on low and put alot of hot suace in it. You can serve it with nacho chips or eat it plain. Best for any type of party. Dont forget to add black pepper. the color of this dip should be a orange and yellow

    My husband's chicken fried chicken with sawmill gravy, mashed potatoes (skin on!), a heaping serving of greens and a cold glass of milk.

    The only thing that can make it any better is a slice of my mom's pecan praline layer cake for dessert.

    Chicken and dumplings! Ahh so good. A few more favorites are cubed steak and gravy with mashed potatoes, and homemade mac and cheese.

    Mayfield Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice ceam. Thick Fuddrucker cheese burger, or a double whopper with cheese, or how about some good creamy homemade mac and cheese. What's for dinner? Who's cooking and what time should I show up? YUMMMMOOOOOOO

    French chicken - chicken breasts filled with soft cheese with garlic and herbs in it, wrapped in parma ham, and roasted in the oven with cherry tomatoes, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, herbs and garlic. Served on a bed of spaghetti, and served with a crisp green salad and homebaked bread, not for the dieters!!!!!

    I love to make desserts too, so prob followed with a banoffi pie, or apple flan and homemade cinnamon icecream!!

    I love French Onion Soup on a cold day!

    And I absolutely love Chili Cheese Dogs as an awesome comfort food, lol. :D

    It's also comforting when your parents roast you a whole chicken and you're free to tear it apart with your hands. :)
