Is a medium size suitcase & a backpack along with diaper bag with new babies stuff 2 much to take to hospital?
the suitcase has mine, husband and daughters clothing in it and the backpack has personal shampoo, conditioner and etc. for us and of course the diaper bag can stay in the car until we get ready to leave because it has new babys clothes and things in it, do you think that is too much although it is for everyone?
Im sorry but my family is clean and does like to shower and change their underwear everyday! maybe that is just us, and my daughter is 15 months old and you never go anywhere without a change of clothes for a toddler!

You really need to pack lighter, you won't need much more than a housecoat, warm socks and slippers or a cozy track suit. You won't be changing outfilts at all, you'll just want to be warm and cozy. Why is your family bringing a change of clothing? If they wear something comfortable from the start that's all they will need. Think light, you really don't have that much room in the hospital room for alot of luggage.

Hell all I brought along were my bath essentials and some clothes. You don't need a change of outfit for everyday because they will probably make you wear an ugly gown.
And if you ever had a baby before you should know they have underwear they make you wear and you are required to shower so they know you are recovering well enough to go on about your day normally.
I'm not trying to be rude I'm just telling you from my experience.
Don't forget socks or slippers.

Growing up, I was always taught to overpack because you never know what you might need.
I have a medium sized suitcase (clothes and toiletries), the diaper bag, and a backpack with snacks, stuff to do, and towel/washcloth.
I think you're fine with what you have!!

u're most likely gonna need a lot more breast pads than that. also, don't forget ur birth plan. and another thing. ur pj's and robe r most likely gonna get ruined, i checked w/ my hospital and found out they give out nightgowns and robes too, so i'm gonna use theirs. and if u're breastfeeding, do NOT use a pacifier for the first 4-6 weeks or there could be a nipple confusion.

I brought one small suitcase. All I needed was a couple pair of pjs, socks, and an outfit to go home in. Also a few bathroom things like contact case, glasses, deodorant, and toothbrush. I didnt bring shampoo and stugg like that. They provided it. In that same bag I brought my son an outfit, blanket, stuffed animal, and binky.

I think thats fine you can always leave an extra bag of the "just in case" stuff in the car while at the hospital so it doesn't look like you're moving in.

Hey you really made me laugh!
Just take the bare essentials for you and lots of stuff for baby, have you any idea what those lovely first diapers look like filled!!!
If you need more then I'm sure you will have plenty of visitors who can bring it in.
Make sure you pack a good supply of chocolate and juice, a few magazines and lots of underwear.
Have fun!

I live by one rule when it comes to packing for anywhere. If you think you might need it bring it.
