Is there a way to transfer "no transfer items" to yourself with another account in SECOND LIFE?
Hi...
For personal reasons I'm gonna close my current account in SL and will open another one, in fact I have already opened it, and I am transfering all my stuff to my new account. The problem is, there are some items i bought that are "no transfer" and these items in particular mean a lot to me not only because they were really expensive and of a really high quality, but because these items dont exist anymore in SL since the store I got it from now is closed forever and these items will never be for sale again :(
Now, I know this is a stupid question, because I am afraid I already know the answer....but I needed to give it a chance before I go to SL web to close my account forever...
Is there a possibility my "New me" in SL can have these "no transfer" items from my "old me"? :(
I will give this question only 24 hrs...then I will close my account with all the pain in my heart....(no no, it's no drama, for me these items are like a relic since the designer died in RL) :(

I'm not aware of any way to do that, unfortunately, beyond emailing either the creator (which in this case is impossible, if they've passed away) or a partner/staff of the old store who might still have a transferable copy of the item safely tucked away somewhere. In fact, that would be the only way I can think of to possibly do that, although I do wish there was a way to transfer items to yourself since you already OWN them (any Lindens listening??)
If you have no other option, I would at least suggest not deleting your old account entirely; but keeping it as an "inactive storage repository", as it were, even if only to keep those sentimental and impossible-to-replace items. At least, that's what I'd do in your place. Just keep it as an inactive account and log in every blue moon to ensure that everything's still there. The other thing you could try doing in the meantime is searching around for a similar item... I don't know what items you're referring to, but it's possible that something very very similar might be out there.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but that's the best I can brainstorm at this time :) Good luck with your new av, and your new start.

No, creators choose to make no transfer products to protect their content, if there was a possibilty you could transfer non-trans objects it would be pointless having the option at all.
What you could do is email the creator of the object and ask to buy again, that's really the only thing.
