That manchild is obviously dealing with his own feelings of inadequacy. No self-respecting intelligent being will find long lasting happiness in those circular, meaningless pursuits of hedonistic pleasure. And trust me, he may lead a comfortable life but he's NOT balling. Bebe is not exactly a high-end boutique. When I see Hugh Hefner wannabes, I don't question them; I just ignore 'em.

So age means nothing (other than cell vitality). Life experiences doesn't necessarily mean anything either, because some of us choose to ignore the lesson. I have met some truly enlightened 13-year-old, and I have also met some manchild like the one you've described. The best measure of a good man would be his disposition.

I guess I would find it weird at first if he's old enough to be her grandpa...but when I think about it, society has kind of made it seem like you should only be a couple years older/younger than your significant other. In the end, if they are happy and they love each other, it shouldn;t matter.

That , to me, doesn't fit how I feel about age differances. I would have no problem dating/being in a relatioship with an 18 year old (im 36) but if we don't have things in common and don't connect it isn't anything but sex.

Just do whatever makes ya happy. Happiness is whats most important.

I understand your point of view. Normally I don't have a problem with people that are of consenting age. As far as relationships but that age difference does disturb me. You just can't help but think that theirs an ulterior motive. If you stop and think about it. Their the ones that have to be happy with the arrangement. Nobody else.

If he looks like a grandfather, then that age difference is too much. However, it is none of my business nor anyone elses as long as they are happy what whatever reason.
