Any therapy dogs out there?

We use our Cane Corso in a physical rehabilitation center & are working on our rescued female Boxer in that direction. Anyone else have therapy dogs? What breed are they?

Update:

Thank you those who do therapy & good luck to those going for it! That's awesome!! We are sending you best wishes for much success.

I know it can be difficult going some weeks, but you are making a difference!

My dog's in the process of becoming one.

He's a Shih Tzu. We adopted him from an animal shelter, and he's about 6 years old. He's such a sweetie. I've never had a dog this nice. I think he'll make a great one.

Wish me luck. The test is next Saturday!

  • The oldest I have is 4 years old she a american pitbull terrier she is more of a companion for my great great grandmother she more or less protects her when no one is around I say that because she doesnt leave her side. I was surprised when I came home from work one day to find them both sitting on the porch Trinity was laying by her legs.

My GSD is certified for it, but because I'm at college, we haven't had the chance to actually go. I'm looking forward to taking him over summer though. He's got a cute face, and will be sure to cheer people up!
