Is Malcolm Kelly the next in a long line of prima donna wide receivers?

His comments after his pro day:

"I had everything set up for where I wanted to (run) at,” said Kelly, who had a heated argument with (OU strength and conditioning coach) Schmidt after the workout, at one point even throwing his cleats into the turf. "I get up here this morning and it's a whole different deal. I was slipping all over the place during my drill work. I can't say I'm pleased with anything today.”

"Certain people have tried to hold me down, and they know who they are,” Kelly said after the workout. "I wouldn't say the whole OU coaching staff, but certain people, I would say that.”

His "everyone is out to get me" type rant is sounding a lot like what Chad Johnson has been saying for the past few months. Kelly might have dropped a bit because of a slow 40, but he may have hurt himself way more by lashing out like that. So he thinks he willnever have to run on different surfaces in the NFL?

I actually sympathize with Kelly on this one. Primma donna or not, the difference between a good pro day and a bad one can be going frm a top-ten pick, to possibly being drafted in the second, or if the day was bad enough, even third round, aka that's MILLIONS of dollars he stands to lose.

I'm sure he understands very well that he will have to run on different surfaces in the NFL, but at this point, he's concerned about being drafted higher, and about representing himself as best he can. Despite how petty it can seem to us outsiders, we're talking about millions of dollars that he might not get, just because someone messed with his stuff. I'd be mad too.

I'm an OU fan and have watched Kelly over the years. I think he's the best receiver in the draft. But with that said, he should have not acted that way. I know conditions might not have been favorable, and he still might not be 100% (i've heard that he's bitter that his injury wasn't properly diagnosed),but he shouldn't have called out people like that and blame the turf. I still believe that he'll go in the first round. I just hope that maybe he will learn something from his actions and not act like that in the NFL.

Braylon Edwards of the Browns. Is there any reason that he's optimum the lead in dropped passes ??? i admire the Browns and that i comprehend DA sucks although that's not all his fault. This guy needs to advance up. He ought to drop the 5 previous passes in trouble-free terms to yell interior the digicam while he finally have been given fortunate and caught a TD pass against the manhattan Giants in primetime television. You talk approximately prima donna receivers ??? This guy wins hands down......
