  • What to put in a St Louis Gift Basket?

A friend's family is giving us a place to stay in Kentucky for the weekend of the Derby and we want to put together a gift basket for them. So far we have a six pack of Schlafly, some candy from Crown Candy Kitchen, some pasta sauce from the hill, a gift card to Ted Drewes (they visit St Louis often) any other suggestions?

  • Where can I find a haunted hotel?

Not an authentic, "ghost sighting" one, but like a haunted house or hotel that you stay over night, and they scare you all night, is there any such place? Anywhere in the US

  • Does anybody else hate when Jim Joyce is umping the game you are watching?

His screeching strike calls on every strike thrown are funny at first, but as the game wears on it gets pretty annoying

  • Dan Uggla for AL MVP?

Grounded into inning ending double play, 2 errors on routine grounders, and striking out with bases loaded one out, he gets my vote

  • Best place to camp in the US without premade campsites?

I want to go somewhere secluded but everywhere I look for has premade campsites with tons of people there. And they dont permit camping anywhere but the designated areas. Does anyone know a place where you can just go off the beaten path a bit

  • How did Adarius Bowman go undrafted and unsigned by any NFL team?

He had to sign with the Saskatchewan Roughriders! Yeah he had a rough combine, and had some marijuana problems, but that can be improved upon. He was a monster in college and he had the size\speed combo to be a star in his first few years in the league.

  • What if they played for...?

If these players started for these teams, would they be Pro bowl players at their respective positions....?

    1.Reggie Bush-Minnesota Vikings(behind their line)

    2.Calvin Johnson-Indianapolis Colts(with Peyton)

    3.Dwayne Bowe-New England Patriots(pass happy offense)

    4.Vernon Davis-San Diego Chargers(instead of Gates)

And what if these players started with these teams, would they still have the success that they do now....?

    1.Tom Brady-San Francisco 49ers(no line or receivers)

    2.Adrian Peterson-Detroit Lions(2nd worst run blocking line)

3.Randy Moss-Oakland(oh yeah, we know how that worked out)

  • NL Central is going to be close, who do you think takes it in the end?

I think Cardinals, and as you can tell by my avatar, I am completely biased, so I'd like to see what everyone else thinks. They have the desire to prove everyone wrong driving them. They are playing with more intensity than I've seen them play with in years. Stellar pitching from a rag tag bunch of ex relievers has fueled this run so far, further proving that Dave Duncan is a genius as a pitching coach. The hitting has been much more consistent as well. They will pull away from the Cubs who really only have two pitchers worth anything and the Brewers who lost Gallardo and are dealing with Gagne's mistakes.

  • Titans did it again?

Last year they reached for running back Chris Henry because he was the fastest running back in the draft, now they do the same thing with Chris Johnson, What are they thinking?

  • Could this weekend come any faster?

I don't know about everyone else, but i am tired of mock drafts, predictions of busts and steals, I just wanna see what my team can do to climb out of the bottom of the barrel. There isn't really too much overwhelming talent in this draft beyond Dorsey and Mcfadden, but there is a lot of depth that can provide quality starters that may turn out to be superstars. This isn't really a question, just sound off your team and who you think they could get in this draft to help them out next year.

  • Chiefs put Jared Allen on the trading block?

I just read that story, want to know what Chiefs fans think about trading away their best player for untested draft picks? I think its ludicrous for them to want to trade him, but I would be very happy if he made his way into a Rams uniform.

  • Is Malcolm Kelly the next in a long line of prima donna wide receivers?

His comments after his pro day:

"I had everything set up for where I wanted to (run) at,” said Kelly, who had a heated argument with (OU strength and conditioning coach) Schmidt after the workout, at one point even throwing his cleats into the turf. "I get up here this morning and it's a whole different deal. I was slipping all over the place during my drill work. I can't say I'm pleased with anything today.”

"Certain people have tried to hold me down, and they know who they are,” Kelly said after the workout. "I wouldn't say the whole OU coaching staff, but certain people, I would say that.”

His "everyone is out to get me" type rant is sounding a lot like what Chad Johnson has been saying for the past few months. Kelly might have dropped a bit because of a slow 40, but he may have hurt himself way more by lashing out like that. So he thinks he willnever have to run on different surfaces in the NFL?

  • Vernon Gholston?

About this time of year there is always one player who has a freak showing at the combine and draws comparisons to Mike Mamula as a "workout warrior". Gholston wasn't very consistent in college, some games he was outrageous and made plays all over the field, and others he got lost among the crowd. What kind of impact do you think he will have for the team that picks him, and do you think he should be rated as a top five pick?

  • 4 games a year in England?

What are they thinking, can't they just accept the rest of the world doesn't like it and leave the game where its true fans are?
