breakup stories?

I haven't started dating yet. But here is a funny story...

One day I had a friend over for a sleepover. We were eating some cereal in the kitchen and my brother came and propose to her with a mood ring. My friend was staring at him, then he tried to put the ring on her finger and accidentally dropped in into her cereal and the milk turned green. =S My brother started to cry and my friend was disgusted. My friend and I still joke about it today!

I haven't had a real boyfriend yet. But my niece's is pretty funny. I think. There was this guy she was dating for about 2 weeks. His name was Corey. He was sweet. We talked almost every night since my mom wasn't caring that we were roaming because she had used most of our shared minutes because she forgot her phone and we were on "vacation". He had some good life goals for himself too. Then when we got home, I asked her was Corey around. And she's like no we aren't dating anymore. I said why and she said because he lied to her and he was a cry baby. And I said what did he lie about. Because he seemed like a hot nerd. LOL. He didn't like her mom's cooking? Then she said He told me he was a virgin and he isnt. I was shocked. I guess he wasn't the right guy for her because she went back to the crack head she had been seeing before.

A friend of mine was going out with her boyfriend for 4 years, when he dumped her. By text. On her birthday. Seriously, I wouldn't have believed it only I was there. He was perfect in almost every way as far as we knew - I've known him all my life. Just goes to show, I guess. Anyway, sorry, I think a funny story is preferable, but this was the only one that came to mind.

So, I don't have any funny break-up stories of my own... pretty boring breakups for me.

However, I have my friend's funny break-up story to share (because it was partially my fault... oops!). Anyway, my friend and his girlfriend had grown apart as he and I had grown closer (as friends, keep in mind there was no sexual attraction between us) anyway, his gf basically hated me because he started sharing everything with me instead of her. So she told me that I needed to back off or she would dump him. I found him and told him "your gf just told me that if I keep talking to you she's going to dump you." He decided that enough was enough, she was avoiding him so he decided to end it. It didn't exactly go as planned. They were talking and another of our friends who we had told about the planned break up comes over and says "So, buddy, how did it go? Is she mad or did she get all defensive and say she was planning on ending it too?"

I almost killed him just then, but instead, I walked over and guided him away very kindly explaining that he hadn't done it yet. Needless to say, the girlfriend was pretty upset.

We had a good laugh that night on the bus home, especially when we drove past her, the guys started doing imitations of her. Mean, I guess but probably one of the funniest things I will ever see.

In 5th grade, this guy I went out with for like one day asked me to marry him and gave me a plastic ring on the school playground and I pushed him down the slide.

He wasn't really serious but it was funny.

A 32 year old man broke up with me via E-mail because he was too much of a pansy @ss to do it to my face! This was about 3 years ago.

this isnt exactly a break-up story, its more of a hilarious rejection story. so theres this guy at school who everyone thinks is ridiculously not, and had never been once rejected by a girl. so, he started liking my friend, and she totally led him on. so one day, he asked her out. she goes i never really though of you that way.. i dont find you attractive. he goes what? like incredulous. i couldnt stop cracking up that he could not understand that a girl didnt think he was hot. so she went on to rub it in, and was like is this the first time you've been turned down? hes like uuh.. yeah. (he was a complete jerk, so we had justification.)

Boyfired (when i was straight) broke up with three days after we were going out. I found out 3 week later we were broken up. turns out her didnt tell me we were broken up

me and my ex are still madly in love with each other.

[a lot of people will scoff at this because we're so young ...]

but we dated for well over a year,

and spent pretty much every waking moment with each other.

we just had a lot going on at one point and when my sister passed away,

EVERYTHING just got too hard to handle ...

so one night i just broke it off.

i guess it was for the better but i kinda regret it now ...

ive only had one bf so far but its not that interesting actually. although it made me cry when i got home.

here it goes:

he had gotten to school like one min b4 me and his stupid annoyin cousin saw me and yelled "there she is! do it now!" i had a bad feeling and i knew wat was about to happen. i walked by real quick cuz it would be awkward if i stayed. then like 2 min later my friend came up to me and told me he wanted to break up. i didnt really care then but later i realized that i was still in love with him.

me and him are still friends now tho. i still like him and that was like 2 or 3 months ago. i think he likes me too again!! im thinkin bout asking him out. . . . anyway, he broke up wit me cuz we didnt talk enough
