Yes, but naturally theyll want something as collateral, they wont be too worried since they know theres a guaranteed paycheck coming in and if you fall back in payments theyll have the military subtract the money before it shows up in your account.

Navy Fed is really really picky. It just depends on how bad your credit is. I'm not gonna say they won't though. Just try and see. Be prepared for high interest rates though. You can always refinance though to get a lower interest rate.

credit unions don't necessarily give you better or worse loan deals, if one at all, than a regular bank. Being active duty won't make a difference in their consideration, which doesn't make any sense, but thats the reality of it.

I don't know I know thye use to be real easy to get any type of loan through. Now they ask majpr question about money and creit it never hurts to try.
