hubby was active duty for 10 yrs, now in reserves for a yr and hasn't been paid for any drill weekend since Jan. They keep "updating" information to send to dfas, however, they have not been really working on it til today when they discovered that they had been sending the wrong information this whole time, cuz they were not checking the info they have sent, hubby is a full time student, receiving unemployment, we have 3 children so we depend on this reserve pay. Now we have to wait again for them to send info. Meanwhile, bills are overdue, some this have been disconnected and I would like to know can how can I make sure someone in psd, gets reprimanded ? 6 months is a long time for some not to do their job duties. Pls advice is wanted.

Okay if you (E4) recieve a reduction in rank (to an E3) and fortieture of half months pay for two months, okay E4 pay is say 2218 and E3 pay is say 1859, but the total amount they are telling you to be paid is 2150, how does that add up ?

Also can you offer to pay the funds immediately instead of having wage garnished ?

Can you get a used car loan with them if you have bad credit and want to rebuild it ?

I have fair credit and the hubs has poor credit, would we get approved ? Does anyone know the min. score they will work with ? We don't want a long term and we do have a lil to put down.

"K" how long does it take to get "home". If u have already turned in ur "stuff" and had the "ceremonies" ? I have heard many differ things and being in the home stretch I am gonna burst ! Can someone please tell me ?

I am so tired of DH always gettin PNA ! Because of quotas, its such bull ! Then supposedly, they say more points for going IA ! They say, first pick if on IA billet, yeah right ! DH has taken both exams this yr and still like always PNA ! Ok quotas, is it for whole branch or quota for ur personal command ? DH so deserves it, works hard for it, and wants it, why not ??? UGH !

So I did what most sites suggested and worked for the most part but still some that won't just budge, plus I know I prob have a good sized one below where you can not see. I can not work that far down. Is there something else I can do ? Tomorrow is my doc appointment, what do they normally do to get them out ?

Ok it has happen to me before where I ate peanuts and they got lodged in the walls of my thoat. I got them out then. Well again I started getting the flu I thought and then sore throat and checked my throat and had white things on my throat so I thought it was strep, then I saw that one of them looked like before and I got it out so now I have been trying to get the rest out and I can't. When I swallow it feel like something is caught even lower than I can see. But the ones I can I cannot get them out. Now my right ear keeps popping and I feel like I am getting an earache. I have used the back of toothbrush which the doc told me to use b4 and have even used a q-tip to try to unlodge them but its not working. I gargle often and hard. Nothing is working. I have a doc appointment tomorrow but does anyone know what I can try to do also ? I have also tried gargling h-poroxide didn't work. HELP !!!!

Ok she started about a week ago which is fine I have been cleaning up her spots on the floor but her bedding I was gonna wait til she was over it to wash it, well now I notice she has an odor its not pleasant. Is it because of her bedding is dirty with her stuff or what ? I have not taken her for the normal walks so that I don't have an altercation with horny males so there is nothing that could have gotten at or in her ya know. I have since washed her bedding today, the odor started about friday afternoon. HELP ???

I was baptised lutheran but parents never went to church or anything. Everything I believe in I have come to it myself. Well my children are not baptised and my hubby is roman catholic which he was brought up going to church and praying and whatnot, now I would really like to start going to church but I have no clue on what religion I think I would like or believe in. I do believe in the lord and certain things, I am a very I guess you could say traditional women but I am also open minded and believe I am not here to place judgement. Sometimes I question myself and even if I have faith because of my life and how it has been. But I am asking how do you come to find what religion you want to be ? Do I have to go and like somewhat interview the churches ? Please help with this, I think I owe it to myself and my kids to let them know about faith and church, god and sins and stuff. I also don't want it to be like a chore to go to church or be mostly boring, I have 3 young kids. Thanks

I want to give praise, thanks and respect for all our service members, I love all of you and APPRECIATE all ya'll do. Now I want to take the time to give love and respect to our military brats like mine and to the strong backbones of our men,.....us the military wives . Kudos to me and all of you. No matter what we always try to stand tall and strong for our kids our spouses and for our own sanity. We serve as well but get no leave....dang it, thats sucks but we would never ever wanna cross rate to something else !!! LOL alright I will stop be a cheese. love all you gals and guys who know what I am talking about from EXPERIANCE !!!!!!!

Ok , I am a proud military wife and going through hubby's deployment which I guess makes me more emotional anyway but I remember before I married him I always had compassion for our troops and felt hurt by our fallen. But now that my honey is "over there" (which normally he is aboard ship and it hurts but not scary for me) anyhow he is an IA which I totally support him and his duty. OK now getting to my question, I now have even more respect for the wives of the frontliners because this deployment is.... wow, tough !! When that another has fallen it deeply hurts my heart and soul and I cry. I have 2 other deployments under my belt but this is a differ kind ya know. So is this a norm feeling of empathy and sympathy ? Or am I just being a bit too emotional ? I thank all our troops and fams of them and I am thankful that mine is safe again today and pray everynight for all. Thanks for reading and trying to help.

What is mustard gas and how would the scars be ? I can't seem to put the book down, I know alot of our troops came home sick with illness' but I don't know what this gas is, how it affects one.

Please just remember our fallen, our heroes, our innocent fellow Americans who lost their lives on the tragic day of 9-11-01. For one day put you personal opinions aside and just remember them and appreciate that those of us are still here and able to feel the warm sun and see our children play. Their are many who are not, and whatever your views are... just for one day have compassion for eachother no matter what religion, political pref.we are all still Americans and we are bonded by that day. I pray for all of us to never feel or see the same thing happen again, for my childrens sake and yours. God bless us all !

Ok, well I moved out of state and moved all of my moms belongings which I paid for the move she never paid part which is my mistake, then when I was selling my home in the new state I put most of her belongings in storage which I paid for 1 yr and 2 months ago she would pay only half. Now when we got station'd again I pack all of our stuff and moved but I had forgot that my moms hubby's tools were in my outside cubby with the waterheater, so when we remeber'd I had call my in-laws and asked if they could get the tools and keep them in their shed, they said no prob. Well now my mom is traveling to pick up her stuff at my uncles then down to the storage unit to get her stuff and wants to get the tools from in-laws home, which is fine, but as it turns out they never went and got the stuff. So now my mom is blaming me and saying that I should have put in in the storage and its my fault. Yes I feel bad cuz I forgot them but I didn't have room in the storage unit .........

I am a Navy wife and my better half is deployed, " over there ", we do live in housing which my children have there friends but my oldest child (9yrs old) has asked if she can have a pen pal. I thought that it might be nice for her to have one that is also a military child who is dealing with a deployed daddy or mommy. That way she has an outlet and someone her around her age to relate to. Mommies sometimes are apparently not cool or are just to old to understand , so she says. Anyhow, how would I go about finding her one ? I am stumped. Please any advice????

About 8 1/2 - 9 yrs ago I had a cousin who was in the Army and died in a car accident in Texas. How can I find more info on the accident without talking to my aunt ? Is there a way ? He was fresh out a bootcamp or maybe still going through training. Please help!!
