Navy reserve pay problems ?
hubby was active duty for 10 yrs, now in reserves for a yr and hasn't been paid for any drill weekend since Jan. They keep "updating" information to send to dfas, however, they have not been really working on it til today when they discovered that they had been sending the wrong information this whole time, cuz they were not checking the info they have sent, hubby is a full time student, receiving unemployment, we have 3 children so we depend on this reserve pay. Now we have to wait again for them to send info. Meanwhile, bills are overdue, some this have been disconnected and I would like to know can how can I make sure someone in psd, gets reprimanded ? 6 months is a long time for some not to do their job duties. Pls advice is wanted.

Have you worked his chain of command? If not, you have to work it but your husband has to do it. He needs to go to his chief and work up from there. I would document everything. If you try to do it, it will make life more difficult for your hubby. You probably wont get the person responsible in trouble and if you did you will never know it. That part is Navy business. Your hubby needs to be very proactive. Your hubby may need to meet with the JAG to see about keeping him out of trouble.

there is no one to reprimand. mistakes happen. stuff gets mis filed or computers go down.
