Anyone noticed the benefits of using a Memory Foam Mattress twin or single bed for back pain releif?

I've recently launched an information site that is advocating the use of Memory Foam Mattress's as a way to relief many types of back pain and back Muscle stress. I would love to hear if anyone has had really positive results from using a Twin Memory Foam Mattress or a Single one and how it has affected your general back health. It would be great to have actual, personal feedback from people using this amazing material, originally designed by the NASA space program for their Astronauts comfort. The reason I want to know this is because nowadays you can order a Foam Mattress Twin or single Bed online. I want to point my readers in the right direction. The information site on this subject is located at http://www.squidoo.com/FoamMattressTwin

Look forward to hearing your answers or comments on this. thanks

I replaced my bed with a memory foam mattress. OH I LOVE IT. Very comfortable, and has very much reduced back pain. I would happily recommend it to anyone considering whether it is worth it. I waited for the Christmas sales and got a very good deal. Money well spent as far as I am concerned. I thus went and replaced two single beds with similar mattresses, and guests have all commented on the comfort and the fact that they have 'slept much better'. What more can I say?

In 1993, I had a cliff diving accident, a kind of dumb one my friends say, and I'll agree with that. It broke one of my vertebrae and messed up a few of my disks. I'd like to rewind those 2 seconds of my life, like they do on AFV : )

But I recovered very well and lived about 10 years pain free and with no restrictions. Then, slowly, it began to bother me. It started to interfere with my sleep because I couldn't get comfortable on my old innerspring mattress.

Then I did some research and bought a memory foam mattress and it really worked. I could tell that the mattress actually did "contour to the shape of my body." It wasn't just marketing hype. I was able to sleep again, and my pain went away, although I still don't do any heavy lifting, and I hike / walk instead of jog now.

I liked the bed so much, I started an online store in 2004 so I could help others find a good memory foam mattress:

I'm glad to say that we've been able to help others with similar problems, some have back injuries like mine from an accident. One woman had a horse kick her. One of our customers had an auto accident. But many other people didn't have any back problem other than their old mattress. Like a customer of mine said just the other day, "I just thought you were supposed to wake up stiff and achy."

In my experience, and the experience of my customers, memory foam mattresses can be a tremendous help in getting back pain relief.

Try a natural latex bed rather than memory foam. They last longer and are more comfortable. Here's a site that has some good info about real latex beds plus they have some really good outlet prices. Hope that helps

I'm not sure about mattresses, but I did get a memory foam pillow recently and it has really helped my back problems. I used this website www.pillowking.com. Its not too expensive either.
