How do I say "Good job in the play" in Japanese?

A Japanese exchange student in my school was in the play and I want to congratulate him on a job well done. Can you please spell out the pronunication?

    good job in the play = totemo jouzu na engi deshita yo.

    totemo = very

    jouzu = good job

    engi = play

    im sorry to say that but 'dattadesune' is not correct japanese.

    I think "umaku dekita ne" is enough.

    うまく、できたね。This is not used only in the play but many things. If you want to add, "umaku engi/oshibai dekitane".

    The solutions above show the themes of on line translations. whilst they are grammatically impressive,?they are literal, and no eastern would ever say it that way. What they might say is: ???????????

    Sugoku insead of totemo

    上手く演じられたね。

    umaku enjirareta ne.

    composition:

    上手く(umaku) = well

    演じられた(enjirareta) = could play
