Compressed air works for dust and other particles that get trapped under the keys...but your best bet is to turn off your laptop and see if you can take the keys off. Usually have to pry them up a little. Then use alcohol swabs or plain rubbing alcohol lightly put on small gauze pads and clean up the sticky mess that the drink likely left.
One by one as you replace the keys, wipe them down too.
Uhhm as you put the keys aside, either put them down in the order you take them off...or do one row at a time...or something so you don't accidentally put them on in the wrong order ;)
Hope this helps

compressed air is good for removing dirt but wont be that great for cleaning spilt drink, have a look in the user manaul or online ot see if the keys can be removed, ( most can) and then used cotton buds to remove the sticky drink.
Note: IBM laptops have a drain built into the sealed keyboard tray making cleaning very easy.

Compressed air does work, but I've never used it for something sticky. Be very careful when cleaning, b/c keyboards are NOT waterproof, and the motherboard is directly near that. if all else fails, take it in to a specialist and explain the situation. They were able to replace the keyboard and save the harddrive 4 my dad.
Good Luck!!!

Never drink and type ! Canned air is not likely to work. It's mainly used only for dust. What you're talking about has sugar in it and will dry hard. You're going to have to take it to a repair person who know's what they're doing.

ok i once dropped lemonade all over my laptop. and it didnt do anything because i left it upside down for quite some time to get the actual lemonade out. you have to get something sharp of some sort. like a key. and take out the keys one by one. (dont worry they will go back on), and clean it buy using a vaccum or a phone cleaning wipe. i would advise you to do this anyway. becauses there is usually alot of junk and crap underneath the keys. and it will build up and build up causing the keys to jam. hope ive helped

It depends you might be able to take it in to get it cleaned i am sure that there are plenty of places out there that can remove the keys to clean it, but if you dont want to you might be able to google how to pop off the keys and clean it out. but be careful, because sometimes if you use water it could reck the inside of the computer. Good Luck! :D

eeek that's not good. I'm sorry. Yeah use compressed air and maybe a very slightly dampened cloth. Anything more you'd have to take in to get fixed...

You should be able pry the keys off and use an air-compressor to blow the "crap" out and replace back the keys.
