Any One Else Pissed At FOX Sports Baseball 4/12/08 ?

Did anyone else get absolutely pissed off at what the fox network did last night during the Red sox yankees game?/

Bottom of the ninth, two outs, no one on. Papelbon is pitching to the final batter of the game. The count gets to 3-2, the sox are about to win. Suddenly, Joe buck says they are switching to the first lap of the nascar race and I dont get to see the final pitch. pardon me but WHAT THE **** WAS THAT????

Why didn't the baseball game resume on FX in the first place. As a NASCAR fan I was over the baseball game and was into the NASCAR pre game show. I think that one of the best parts of a NASCAR race is the start and last night was no exception except we had to watch a 18 man spitting contest and miss DW and Boogity, Boogity, Boogity! Let's Go Racing Boys!!

Ya, it was a real shame! We didn't get to see the meathead ground out and probably not even run out the play! Stupid baseball. We were watching FOX because racing was on and all the sudden they put on the stupid baseball game and missed the green flag. Nascar time slot, not baseball. AND really, who cares about Papalbon pitching!

Int the Boston area, they switched coverage to FX but it is still B.S.! I would have choked someone if I couldn't watch the end. Sox/Yankees is the biggest rivalry in sports, and matters to more people than lap one of a NASCAR race! idiotic move by FOX.

It's not politics it's greed. We're in a day and age where people would rather see someone make a left turn 500 times. I mean seriously I'd go to my grandparents if I wanted to see that. People just don't give respect for baseball...Oh it's long, oh it's boring. WHAT IS NASCAR? Hell NASCAR is even longer than baseball. What they should do is make it 10 laps and leave it at that.

I completely agree. I was so mad when they did that.

Here's a question FOX should be asking itself:What would America rather see;The Greatest rivalry in sports or the first lap of a NASCAR race?

MLB Network - Baseball news all the time. What a great addition to my cable television. I enjoy it. I do catch ESPN though when a repeat is on MLB Network.

Yes very. It was a very good game last night and FOX just left both fans hanging.

i would rather watch baseball and who cares if u missed the first lap of a race theres like 700 more, and who even watches nascar?

i was totally pissed at FOX, for showing the Yankee/Red Sox game

but yes, the fact that FOX and ESPN treat red-neck-go-round as if it was a sport (bear in mind sport requires physical exertion, not motorized exertion) is mind numbing

it's whatever their contract with nascar/mlb says. they said multiple times that they were switching to FX once the green flag was waved.
