Why are radical White Supremist Hate Groups considered to be on the "Right' instead of the "Left"?

The term "right", as used in the U.S., refers to people who oppose change of any kind to the status quo, that is the dictionary definition of "conservative". The groups to which you refer want to turn back the clock to an imagined past when they got their own way all the time. Their equally radical counterparts on the "left" want to turn forward the clock to an equally imaginary time when they will get THEIR own way all the time. Rational people, conservative and liberal alike, accept that in the long term the only workable solution must be some for of compromise, the only question is one of who gives how much. As Learned Hand wrote in 1931, "The condition of our survival in all but the most meager existence is our willingness to accommodate ourselves to the conflicting interests of others, to learn to live in a social world."

The truth of the matter is, most racists are democrats. The KKK was an offspring of the democratic party... they only left because of the 1968 civil rights bill and LBJ.

Republicans have never been associated with Racist organizations.

It is the Dems who cause the racial devide in America. They have caused white guilt, and "multicultuaralism" which is synonoumous with fascism.

They have caused each race to fight for their peice of the pie, rather than view themselves as individuals.

Conservatives are not racist at all. They want less government and more individualism... which exists regardless of race.

Actually, most members of the KKK were Southern Democrats/Dixiecrats. The Liberals and Dem's that advocated states rights can be seen as the advocates of slavery, since it was the states that were in control of that kind of thing.

And Abraham Lincoln was a republican, FTW.

Most members of the KKK were Conservatives.
