Cover letter for resume question!!! Its pretty urgent :(?
I'm writing a cover letter for a resume answering an ad from a newspaper.. Thing is I dont know who to make it out to because they only state the company's name and the address.
Can anyone tell me what I can do when this info isn't given?
Who should I make it out to?
Your help is very very very appreciated !!!

Dear Sir or Madame
To Whom It May Concern

Get a name - even if you have to call up there and track down through the receptionist who the hiring manager is - GET THE NAME
If anything it shows that you made a real effort and you're very serious about the job

take a few minutes and call each hotel your going to. Ask the name of the Manager. Then address each letter individually to the person. It will take a little bit longer, but make a MUCH better impression. Good Luck

Write "C/O: Human Resources" on it.
("C/O" means "Care Of". )
(("Human Resources" This is the listed person that will be authorized to take possession of the resume.))

Something like "To whom it may concern" or "Director of Human Resources" or "Dear Sir" or something like that.

Sir/Madam
NEVER "To whom it may concern"
You could always call the company to find out who to address it to.
