    er lemme try this

    ok, when ur body thinks ur ready, it sends some sort of hormone messenger to your ovaries and tells them to release an egg. if a male fertilizes it, cool. if not, it sits in your womb, where the blood/tissue lining grows thicker in case it is fertilized to protect it. when it isnt fertilized, the lining sheds, and WHA LA! you period.

    pretty neat stuff.

    ha.

    hopeihelped=))

    Menstruation ( a period) cycle means it is preparing a woman for pregnancy- once a month the uterus grows a new lining to get ready for the fertilized egg (baby) No egg? then the uterus sheds its lining which means bleeding - it starts between 11 to 14 yrs and can last from 2 to 7 days -

    you get your period when mother nature takes its course. This is a different time from girl to girl. I didn't get mine until I was in grade 10, while i had friends who had theirs in Jr. High! Don't rush it or feel bad if you don't have yours yet. You didn't specify your age, but i'm guessing that everything is right on track.

    If you're unsure of HOW a period happens, the internet is a wealth of information!

    when a female teen matures here body finds a time when its ready to ovulate. (thats when the egg is released) it usualy happens at around 11-13. some times earlier that that age, or later than that. i hope that helps. if you have mor questions type in "puberty female" or "ovulation cycle". that will teach you in more detail.

    good luck!

    its something that comes to you when youare ready. its not soemthing that you can get when you want. For some it is painful as far as cramps go and for others, u dont feel any thing. When the time is right it will come. If ur question was asking how you can get it faster.... you really cant

    when nature says its your time you will get it, there is no way to "get it" no one can tell where or when, it just happens.
