5mo old has started with solids, poops a ton. is this normal?

she started on watery mushed rice, mushed banana with breastmilk, mushed potato with breastmilk.

she;s now very gassy and poops twice or thrice a day. poop is still color of breastmilk poop, liquidy/ gooey with a few dark fibers included. no stink. is this normal?

before the solids, she was pooping twice or thrice a week

    Pooping twice or thrice a day is absolutely normal for 5-month-old babies. Now that you've started on solids, the baby is consuming more, and (as someone else mentioned) it has to come out somewhere!

    No stink indicates that the baby is still processing the remainder of her breast milk or formula diet. But don't worry, in a few hours, you'll never experience the joy of a stinkless diaper again. Prepare yourself.

    What goes in needs to come out. All these new foods will take some time to get used to, so she is going to fart and poop alot.
