Mistake at the pump?
This morning i was putting fuel in my car, and did not notice that the price at the pump was .33 cents until I left. My question is to know if the store can charge my card for the right amount when they notice their mistake ( not that it's going to be a problem) but I am just wondering (even though it's not my fault that the price was wrong)
it was at racetrac on semoran blvd, in Orlando...it was around 7 am, I think the store must have noticed their mistake by now...sorry bobby

Some stations have modified the charge to reflect the selling price.
My thoughts on this is that you have a receipt with an amount printed on it and the credit card agreement.." I agree to pay the .." clause.
Personally, I would closely monitor the account with which I paid for that fuel and protest any change of the total charge.

They won't charge you. Besides it's too much hassle for them to do so if they tried. I was at the gas station out of state, put my credit card in & got 45 gallons of gas, got my reciept and left and when I got home i checked the reciept and it was .01 cent. No i didnt drive the 234 miles back to pay them. But i did get a .01 charge on my bill
